UCLA reclaims the top spot in women's basketball Power 10

Notre Dame slips, UCLA reclaims No. 1 in Power 10 women's basketball rankings

After a wild week of women's hoops, NCAA.com correspondent Autumn Johnson shuffled up the top three in her latest women's basketball Power 10 rankings. Here's what you need to know:

1. UCLA (Previously 2)

Welcome back Bruins! But they were cutting it close, storming back from a 12-point deficit to escape Iowa on the road led by Lauren Betts’ 22 points. 

2. Texas (Previously 3)

The Longhorns had a full week off and now they’ll face Georgia tonight on the road.

3. Notre Dame (Previously 1)

The Fighting Irish’s 19-game winning streak came to an end in a double-overtime thriller vs NC State. 

4. Southern California (Previously 4)

Juju Watkins and Kiki Iriafen notch their ninth 20-plus game of the season taking down two ranked Big Ten foes. 

5. UConn (Previously 5)

Caroline Ducharme is back in action for the first time since 2023, which is a great sign for the Huskies to add depth.

6. South Carolina (Previously 6)

MiLaysia Fulwiley had 24 points to help take down Vanderbilt. Up next, Ole Miss and Kentucky to close out SEC play strong.  

7. LSU (Previously 7) 

The Tigers relied on their big three to rally back versus Kentucky to clinch a double bye in the SEC tournament.

8. TCU (Previously 9)

The Horned Frogs cruised past West Virginia and will look to close things out against Baylor. Both teams are tied in the Big 12. 

9. NC State (Previously NR)

The Wolfpack beat the No. 1 team for the first time since 2021.  This ACC battle went down to the wire! The guard play was undeniable as Zoe Brooks, Aziaha James and Saniya Rivers scored or assisted on 93 of their 104 points. 

10. North Carolina (Previously 10)

The Tar Heels outlasted Louisville. Alyssa Ustby is still out with a knee injury. 

Dropped out

Ohio State (Previously 8) - The Buckeyes fell to Indiana — its second loss to an unranked foe this season. It has a tough final stretch going up against Michigan State and Maryland. 
 

Arizona climbs into top 4 and Texas remains No. 1 in college softball Power 10 rankings

Texas stays at No. 1 after key wins while Arizona jumps to No. 4 following an undefeated weekend. Oklahoma also remains unbeaten and new teams South Carolina and Oregon enter the rankings.
