A series of exciting opportunities at Beyond the Baseline focused on providing professional development opportunities through a mix of women-centric panel discussions, networking, social events and one-on-one interactions with coaches, administrators, professional athletes, business leaders and fans of the game. The goal is creating diverse conversations to allow women leaders to show the parallel between business and basketball, specifically leadership advice for recruiting, motivating and winning as a team on the court or at the office. RISE
The RISE Champions of Change experience takes participants on a journey designed to educate, evoke empathy, and inspire change. Fans who visit Champions of Change learn about the historic intersection of sports and social justice through our digital timeline, the RISE Road to Progress; and hear firsthand accounts of the role race has played in the lives of star athletes and sports leaders in our virtual locker room, Walk in Their Shoes. Participants can play our new experiential game, the Champions of Change Challenge, an interactive memory-style game testing participants' athletic abilities and their knowledge of social justice and sports moments.
 
Team Area
The Team Area is dedicated to celebrating each of the Final Four teams in the tournament. Each team has their own dedicated zone where guests have the opportunity to take commemorative photos surrounded by the colors of the team they support.​
 
History Zone
The History Zone is a place for fans to learn about the history of Women’s Basketball, past NCAA tournaments, notable achievements, former coaches, and more! ​Memorabilia from the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame will be featured in this area along with fun facts and timelines, interactive activities, coaches' fashion displays, and photo opps. ​
 
Mascot U
The highlight for Womens Basketball's youngest of fans, Mascot U is an activity center with stations showcasing different games that test their mascot skills. Challenges include a t-shirt toss (a very important skill that all mascots must master!), a trick shot where their basketball skills are tested, the "Mascot Me" temporary tattoo zone, and a Mascot puzzle. Children earn a stamp for participating in each and “graduate” upon earning all four, before receiving their Mascot U diploma. ​​
 
Bracketball
Bracketball is an eye-catching basketball challenge featuring a larger than life-sized bracket where fans compete with their shooting skills and see who is crowned champion. ​
 
Outdoor Court
New this year, the outdoor court will welcome attendees to Tourney Town. Fans can take part in play or grab a snack and watch the action on the court just outside of Tourney Town. ​
