Bosa, the son of a 1987 NFL first-round draft pick, was a consensus five-star defensive end at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He ranked as high as the unanimous top defensive end in the country, the No. 2 player in Florida (behind Shea Patterson) and as high as the No. 3 player in the class of 2016.
Bosa was first-team 7A all-state as a sophomore and junior before getting injured in the eighth game of his senior year.
