It was a busy weekend in college softball and I have some shakeups in my Power 10 after some big-time matchups in Week 2.
1. Texas (Previous: 1)
Texas stays on top and is looking good. Now at 11-0 to start the season, the Longhorns have twice taken down Texas Tech. The first win came in an insane pitchers' duel between Teagan Kavan and NiJaree Canady, where Kavan struck out 18 batters in nine innings pitched. Then, the Longhorns won an 11-0 slugfest.
2. Oklahoma (3)
The four-time defending champions move into the No. 2 spot after a 10-0 start to the season. The Sooners run-ruled Baylor twice in Week 2. Sam Landry threw a perfect game to cap off the weekend.
3. Florida (2)
The Gators drop down a spot to No. 3 after notching their first loss to Duke. Florida beat the Blue Devils in their first matchup in just five innings but then dug itself into a hole in the second game, giving up five unearned runs early.
4. UCLA (4)
The Bruins stay put at No. 4, though they lost their first game of the season via walk-off to Virginia at the Clearwater Invitational. However, UCLA picked up some big ranked wins over Oklahoma State and Alabama.

5. LSU (10)
I moved LSU all the way up to No. 5 after a strong 10-0 start to the season. The Tigers had an impressive week with two wins over Northwestern and two wins over Virginia Tech. The offense is finding ways to generate runs, even facing strong arms like Emma Lemely, and the pitching staff has been really good.
6. Florida State (8)
Florida State won all four games in Clearwater, including a ranked win over Missouri via run rule. The bats are getting hot for the Noles with Michaela Edenfield showing some power we are used to, Kennedy Harp continuing her awesome start to the season and Jaysoni Beachum and Isa Torres producing as well.
7. Tennessee (6)
Tennessee drops one spot — only because some of the above teams have better ranked wins on their early-season resumes. The Vols didn't play a ranked opponent in Week 2 but also didn't allow a run in its last three wins. Sage Mardjetko tossed a one-hit shutout on Sunday.
8. Texas A&M (5)
The Aggies are in the same boat as Tennessee. Other teams are above them just because of ranked wins. Texas A&M only has one loss so far — against Oklahoma State.
9. Arizona (NR)
Arizona (10-1) enters the Power 10 after Miranda Stoddard had an unreal weekend with six home runs.
10. Georgia (NR)
Finally, I have Georgia entering at 9-0 on the season with wins over Michigan and Michigan State last week at the Red & Black Showcase.
